Give-A-Push Weekend

Give-A-Push Weekend has been a part of Pi Kappa Phi’s service experience since 1989. The work that you can do over a weekend will help enhance the lives of people with disabilities for many years to come as well as save camps thousands of dollars on labor and materials expenses. As Pi Kapps, we are committed to service to people with disabilities and Give-A-Push Weekend is a program that brings together Pi Kapps from across the country to work side by side to build a better tomorrow while building the bonds of brotherhood. If you want to take a road trip with your chapter brothers, meet some Pi Kapps from across the country, and help enhance the lives of people with disabilities, then Give-A-Push Weekend may be just what you are looking for.

GAP Facts:

Since 1989, 95 Give-A-Push Weekends have been completed and almost 2.5 million hours have been donated to camps to make them more accessible. These hours translate into savings of over $900,000 from labor and grants given. Push America provides a $5,000 Give-A-Push Weekend grant to each camp to help cover cost of materials, meals and lodging.
